The Illuminati! This is an intriguing subject that has caused questions and arguments for hundreds of years. Here are some things that may be unique about them:
The name “Illuminati” comes from the Latin word “illuminatus,” which means “enlightened.” It was a secret society founded in the 18th century by Adam Weishaupt, who was a former Jesuit. The Bavarian Illuminati, or Order of Perfectibilists as it was also known, sought to replace Christianity with what they called a religion of reason and promote values such as liberty, equality and fraternity.
Perhaps one of the most interesting features of this group is its use of symbols. One popular symbol associated with them is the all-seeing-eye enclosed inside a pyramid. Different meanings have been given to this symbol ranging from representing divine providence/guidance to signifying their alleged control over world events.
Another thing that might catch your attention about these people is their structure which was modelled after another organization known as the Jesuits; they had an organizational system based on degrees. Members would pass through different levels where each level had more information and secrets than the previous one. The higher you went up in rank within their organization, the more knowledge you acquired hence this secretive nature has made them appear mysterious to many people thereby giving rise to numerous conspiracy theories.
Nevertheless being short-lived did not prevent them from having significant impacts on our lives even today – historians believe so too! For example some think those same ideals were behind French revolution while others say modern democracy itself wouldn’t have come into existence were it not for certain individuals who were part and parcel of illuminati
