The Denver International Airport (DIA) has been a subject of a host of conspiracy theories; some believe it is a meeting place for the Illuminati. Media outlets and conspiracy theorists such as Jesse Ventura, a former wrestler and Governor of Minnesota have helped to popularize this idea.
Among the allegations about DIA include Illuminati symbols as well as structures like paintings that predict takeovers by the New World Order or alien invasion, statues with glowing red eyes, and gargoyle decorations in the airport. It is also alleged that when seen from space, the layout of its runways resembles a swastika.
However, these claims have been debunked by airport officials and investigations. The mural for instance is one in a series at the airport dealing with themes on peace and being good stewards of nature. “Blucifer” as this statue is known has since become an attraction at the airport because his dad did neon signs; hence its eyes are red. In addition to serving as decorative downspouts, gargoyles symbolize protection against evil spirits.
Moreover, evidence does not support this argument that runway layouts appear like swastikas but they don’t look like this when viewed from space.
There is no evidence that DIA serves as a hub of the Illuminati in terms of the Illuminati connection. It is owned and operated by the City and County of Denver, a public facility that undergoes public scrutiny.
Apart from the Illuminati theories, there are also other conspiracy theories surrounding DIA. Others claim that it is built on top of an underground network consisting of underground bunkers and tunnels which serve different purposes for government or secret societies whereas these allegations have been dismissed by officials at the airport and investigations.
Although there is no evidence to support these conspiracy theories, they persist and are gaining popularity on the internet. Therefore, one should view these claims with some skepticism knowing clearly where he/she depends on reliable sources.
To sum up, while Denver International Airport has attracted numerous conspiracy theories; nothing supports its being an Illuminati center or containing any illuminati symbols or structures. It’s a popular transportation hub for millions of passengers every year; moreover this airport is under public oversight and scrutiny because it’s a public facility owned by City and County of Denver.
