According to the conspiracies, the WWI-causing Archduke Franz Ferdinand's assassination has also been associated with the Illuminati. This is a title used by a group of individuals who claim to have founded a secret society in the late 18th century that orchestrated several turning points in history such as French Revolution and even John F Kennedy's murder. Those believing in this theory say that they were also involved in killing him.

It's believed among those who subscribe to such views that The Illuminatis desired to start a global war so as create one world government through their new world order. This theory holds that Gavrilo Princip, member of “Black Hand” which was a Serbian nationalist group, carried out the assassination on June 28th 1914 as the royal couple travelled through Sarajevo- capital city located within Bosnia Herzegovina then controlled by Austria Hungary.

Upon shooting dead Ferdinand along with his wife Sophie, an unprecedented string events which culminated into what became known as The Great finally commenced. Bosnia had been incorporated into Austria Hungary since 1908 and when Serbia failed to comply with their demands after being accused over involvement in this killing; Austro Hungarian Empire declared war on them.Russian empire backed up Serbia while Germany supported AH besides some other alliances leading to chain reaction across europe then eventually rest world got sucked inside too!

In order to start a worldwide conflict which is believed would have brought about the new world order, It's claimed that The Illuminatis planned Franz Ferdinands murder for years. The reason why they did it in Bosnia was because this province had just been taken over by A-H and there were still lots of Serbian nationalists who wanted their independence from Austria-Hungary.The Illuminati also made sure that Gavrilo Princip (who assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand) belonged to Black Hand-which was entirely comprised of Serbians!

However, there is no definite proof to support the claim that Illuminati was responsible for the murder of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
